R&D
Khosla Profil’s Research & Development Division, located in Wada, near Mumbai, is involved in developing new products, improving current products, and responding to customer's questions and special needs. Our research team is constantly involved in high-tech research and development in its state-of-the-art laboratory focusing on applications development, physical testing, microscopy, analytical testing, pilot processing and filtration technology.
A pilot test is carried out by applying chemicals to fabrics in a simulated production environment for customer sampling purposes. We also develop chemical treatments for fabric, mix chemicals, dyes, and pigments. Our Testing Laboratory tests the physical properties of fabrics. We also have inhouse optical and scanning electron microscopes for viewing materials at high magnification. We also test filtration fabrics for filter efficiency tester and particle size analyzer.
We have indigenously developed over 500 varieties of filter and technical fabrics.
